Jennifer Reimer, RDH is implementing a preventive program (modeled after Healthy Start for Texas Teeth) including education (Head Start Staff, Parents & Children), calibrating dentists for visual oral screenings and application of FV by RDH's and DH Students. There were eight TCC DH students with Community (Outreach) Health Instructor, Terri Patrick, RDH.

This is the third year of a five year ($75,000.00 annually) "Oral Health Initiatives Grant" from the federal government that the Fort Worth (Tarrant County)Head Start Program, administered through Child Care Associates was awarded. This day we saw approximately 150 children in three centers.
